Man Stopped for DUI Has One Last Drink before Taking Sobriety Test
Police stopped 61-year-old Dana Allen Seaman of Ocala Florida on suspicion of drunken driving on Saturday night after observing him swerving down the road in his car.
When questioned, Seaman admitted that he had been drinking earlier in the evening and agreed to take a field sobriety test – but before exiting his car to do so, the seemingly intoxicated man reached over for a glass in the cup holder and downed its contents.
When the officer examined the cup, he smelled alcohol strongly within.
Seabrook failed the field sobriety test and was arrested on DUI charges after refusing to take a Breathalyzer test. He was released from jail on Sunday morning, after spending a night behind bars.
