The South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS) is SC's government agency charged with the statewide provision of licensed and accredited addiction treatment services. These range from DUI intervention, outpatient treatment, and gambling addiction treatment (which are available in every county in South Carolina), to specialized treatment services, such as intensive outpatient, inpatient, withdrawal management (detoxification), and transitional housing.
Specialized services are available on a county, regional, and/or statewide basis.

They can schedule an assessment for you, to determine the most appropriate level of care and to create an individualized addiction treatment plan.
