Rehabilitation consists of treating the disease of chemical dependency (CD), which requires physical, mental and spiritual rehabilitation. Through daily group and individual counseling, patients develop understanding and self-awareness making recovery possible. Average length of stay for rehabilitation is based on the individual need of each client. Long-term specialty programs are also available.
Partial hospitalization programs are designed for clients who do not require 24-hour care but do need more intensive treatment that is available in outpatient services. Patients participate from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Saturday, and 9:00am to 1:00pm on Sunday. White Deer Run of Williamsport and Cove Forge BHS of Williamsburg offer a transitional living facility, which provides a structured, supervised environment for patients requiring further support.
The Half way Houses are to assist men and women in preventing relapse, developing the skills and self-motivation they need to successfully adjust to a drug-free lifestyle and to maintain it after they leave the facility. The clients receive daily instruction and practice skills in the development of positive life goals and responsibilities.
The purpose of adult intensive outpatient program is to provide a structured informational, educational and supportive therapeutic setting to identify significant clinical problems, which could interfere with the client's recovery from chemical dependency (CD).
Treatment is individualized and may include individual, group and family sessions. The Intensive Outpatient Program can consist of up to 9 hours a week. Outside involvement in a 12-step program is encouraged.
Traditional one on one hourly counseling focuses on issues such as family of interpersonal relationships, stress, anxiety and other emotional concerns in conjunction with chemical dependency (CD).
Weekly group therapy focuses on strategies for maintaining a sober, healthy lifestyle and developing a supportive external environment for recovery. This group also assists in identifying and resolving emotional/behavioral issues that could lead to relapse. Clients may continue with aftercare following treatment.
This program provides the family with education and support regarding the disease of chemical dependency (CD). We believe that families become ill when one or more members are chemically dependent and that the illness will progress without treatment. The program's goal is to offer awareness and alternatives to the frustration and confusion that results from the disease of chemical dependency (CD).
CD assessments are done for adults to determine what level of care is most appropriate for the individual.
Referrals can be made by the individual seeking treatment, business and industry, hospitals, etc.
