Texarcana jail guard Jordan Waller was arrested on Saturday after caught trying to smuggle tacos with hidden syringes inside, into the county jail.

Jordan Michael Waller, 25, had been employed for a 2 months as a Miller County jail guard. The Texarcana man swung round the jail at 3 am on Saturday with a couple of large pizzas, and twenty minutes later he came back, this time with a large bag filled with tacos and chili.

His extreme appetite and unusual behavior roused the suspicions of the duty Jail Sergeant, who had Miller searched for contraband.

Officers found the tacos to actually contain buried syringes and the chili hid compressed disks of marijuana. The jail guard was also found to have drug paraphernalia and meth amphetamine in his clothing.

Miller has been arrested and is awaiting trial on $100 000 bond in the self-same county jail. He has been charged with intent to distribute and furnishing prohibited items into a correctional facility.
