Reality Star and Addiction Expert Kelly Osbourne to Join Dr. Phil Show
In her first appearance scheduled for tonight, she will weigh in on prescription drug abuse in Hollywood, using her personal addiction and treatment background to offer some insider perspective on the situation.
In a statement, the 25 year old Osbourne said, "I am excited to be a part of Dr Phil as a contributor for the show - it offers a great opportunity for me to bring a youthful perspective and opinion on the issues that affect ourselves, our families and society as a whole, and I'm very honoured to be a part of it.”
Dr Phil commented on her arrival, saying, "She has dealt with drug addiction as well as addictions within her family. She’s also fought the battle with obesity, and the public scrutiny that often accompanies it. She is well-armed and up to the task of being our special contributor.”
Osbourne has previously appeared on Dancing with the Stars.
