Lohan must appear in court on Friday and faces up to 30 days in jail on probation violation charges stemming from a recent failed drug test. In other celebrity drugs news, Paris Hilton reached a plea agreement with Las Vegas Authorities and won’t serve any time on her cocaine possession charges.

Judge Elden Fox has summoned Lindsay Lohan to his courtroom this coming Friday to answer for a failed drug test – a violation of her probation release agreement.

Last week on Twitter Lohan admitted to the failed drug test (reports suggest she tested positive for cocaine and amphetamines) and the actress tweeted on Saturday that "This was certainly a setback for me, but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences."

In other celebrity drug mishap news, Paris Hilton pled guilty to reduced charges of misdemeanor cocaine possession and obstructing an officer in a Las Vega court room on Monday and received a sentence of 200 hours of community service, a $2000 fine, 1 year of probation and compulsory participation in an outpatient substance abuse treatment program.

Caught with 0.8 grams of cocaine in a DUI traffic stop in Las Vegas last month, Hilton originally faced felony possession charges that could have sent her to prison for between 1 and 4 years.

In his sentencing statement, Justice of the Peace Joe M. Bonaventure lectured Hilton, "The purpose of this at this point is that you change your conduct. The Clark County Detention Center is not the Waldorf-Astoria."
