If someone is just released from jail and needs a free rehab facility or program in Maine, what do they do?

Start here.

It's going to take work. You'll need patience. It isn't going to be easy.

Think of finding free treatment as a kind of test.

Are you up for it?

Call some rehab programs in your area and ask them to refer you. Ask them for phone numbers. Tell them what you need.

Ask your parole officer.

Go to an AA or NA meeting (easy to find) and ask around.
