Although out with bruised ribs at the moment, Rangers’ outfielder Josh Hamilton says he wants to be with his team for the victory celebrations almost sure to come as the team inches closer to clinching a play-off spot. Knowing that these celebrations will involve alcohol, Hamilton is already planning a special outfit to protect himself from accidental ingestion.

As the Rangers are now almost certain to clinch a playoff spot, Josh Hamilton has started to make some plans that will enable him to take part in celebrations that by tradition involve the dousing of all players with champagne and beer.

Explaining his plans to the Dallas Morning Star, in-recovery Hamilton said, "I'm going to have goggles on, duct tape over the mouth and either a wetsuit or raincoat. It can't get on your skin. It'll soak through your skin. I don't want to send the wrong message to people who might see pictures and think I'm not serious about recovery or what it stands for.”
